2020 Varney Wines Shiraz - McLaren Vale

What a glorious example of McLaren Vale Shiraz. Notes of bramble, vanilla, blackberry, plums and shaved pencil greet the nose. Followed by a palate that is rich and round and opulent full of blackberry and black cherry coulis.
Completely in balance, the tannins on the finish are ever so slightly chalky.
At 4 years old this wine is great, a couple more years will only make it better.
