Once again Steve Pannell has opened my eyes to the startling quality of wine we have in Australia. I could not help myself, I was supposed to be tasting but there was certainly no spitting. One of the best Barbera wines I have had in a long time.
Dark & inky in colour. Perfumed, blueberry jam with earthy woody & herbal florals. Rich silky sultry and voluptuous with a bite of acid, blackberries blend with violets, iodine and a hint of beetroot? Bloody lovely, one glass will not suffice.
