Again From the Longview Vineyard in Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills so the fruit is top quality, but this time the clone is a Barbaresco clone...it is next level stuff.
The treatment in the winemaking is super gentle, trying to draw the purity of the fruit. The aromas are quite earthy and again (like the Barbera) there is this caramel note that just leaves you a little warm and fuzzy. The palate is pure Nebbiolo business, ruch red earthy fruit think plums, cherry and raspberry underlined by liquorice/anise flavours. Acids are bright and they carry the flavours with superfine chewy tannins.
