2021 Frederick Stevenson Dolcetto - Adelaide Hills
- Low stock - 2 items left
I did not expect to like this wine, but it is just so good to drink. I think this is one of the best examples of Dolcetto I have tried. The nose offers aromas of red cherries and raspberries layered on blueberries and plums with a hint of savoury spice. The palate is more of the same with layers of red and black cherries competing for prominence back by nice firm tannins.
"Dolcetto from Ashton in the Adelaide Hills.
Made with the lunch table in mind.
Full of various shades of cherries, spice and touch of choccy cake. A nice bed of sappy / chewy tannins to remind you of its Italian roots.
Give it a good swirl or run through a decanter to open the wine up." - Winemaker Steve Crawford
