I did not expect to like this wine, but it is just so good to drink. I think this is one of the best examples of Dolcetto I have tried. The nose offers aromas of red cherries and raspberries layered on blueberries and plums with a hint of savoury spice. The palate is more of the same with layers of red and black cherries competing for prominence back by nice firm tannins.
