2021 Bellvale Pinot Noir - Gippsland

Gippsland Pinot Noir, I am already in love. John Ellis at Bellvale makes good Pinot Noir. Raspberries and hints of wild strawberries dance across the top of the glass with an orchestra playing cloves, anise and savoury spice. The palate is in contrast, deeper red in colour but full of plums, blackberries and bramble. Tannins are fine and this Pinot Noir although balanced has a dense core of fruit. Gorgeous drinking.
