The name translates literally to "lip-stinger" and it is perfectly matched for its racy acidity. This wine variety is super popular with anyone who tries it and is perfect with seafood.
One of the few if only french appelations named after the variety, and the fruit for this wine is sourced from the village of Pinet. Winemaker Benjamin Darnault sources the grape from a local grower right in the heart of the region in the village of Pinet.
Faint yellow in appearance with aromas of lemon, pear skin, green apples, limes and some lovely floral notes. The palate is fresh and clean with citrus flavours driving the palate, subtle saline notes that give a vibrant sea spray and lemon twist finish.
A good alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Albarino.
