"The Denton Pinot Noir block sits at the very top of our North Eastern slope, and sees the softest morning light and is shielded from the hot afternoon sun. The planting density here is 1.3m x 0.8m and this high density spacing always gives us more power and concentration while maintaining the lightness and elegance of the vineyard. The granitic sand over granite boulders and long, slow growing season provide a very special and unique terroir."

An excellent year that required hard work in the vineyard to control disease pressure and canopy growth but the hard work paid off. A classic Yarra Valley growing season with a long and mild Summer with regular rainfall at the right time.
