"My eyesight isn’t the greatest, to say the least, but even in bright light I couldn’t say 100% for sure what the alcohol reading is on this wine. I’d hate to be trying to read it in a dim-light bar.
The wine itself is immaculate. Full-bodied but polished, fruit-driven but complex, juicy and accessible but with the structure to age. Boysenberry, mint, deep plum, subtle herbs, smoky bacon, game and forest notes get the job done, and confidently so. Very good now. Will improve."
