My kind of Sauvignon Blanc, good fruit and some oak makes for fine drinking.
A different climate from Marlborough, presents a different wine. Buttery herbaceous notes on the nose followed by a full and rich palate of melons, butter and pineapple. Beautifully balanced and a nice long finish.
Stylistically Loire Valley, is it a Sancerre? No. But is it fun to drink? Definitely.
