Picked twice to ensure the different ripening flavours were captured. This is gorgeous Cabernet Franc, I am mad for Cab Franc and this is one of the reasons why. This is not one of your daggy tannic French Cab Francs this is just glorious layers of plush red fruit and herbal notes.
Delicious is an understatement, the nose is so vibrant with flavours and aromas of smoky graphite and raspberries. The palate is rich and luxurious, red fruit explodes on the palate with red jubes, raspberries, red plums and get this a hint of chocolate!
Super drinkable.
