96 Point Eden Valley Riesling, this wine should be $35 but Dom Torzi does not pass on the economic rent in his pricing (he owns all his vineyards). Stunning wine showing lemon sorbet, saline notes, apricot & green strawberries.
Tart grapefruit banging acid, smooth lime pith, lemon pith & a chalky long finish.
The 2020 was outstanding, and this may even be better again. 50-90 year old vines.
Wooh-ah! White nectarine, flint, radish and spice, floral top notes. Pure acidity, layers of chalk dust texture, mealy, saline and juicy with pink grapefruit, lime and a super long spicy finish offering grip, kohlrabi and subtle quinine bite. Outstanding.
